GPN Recruitment are currently working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm that is looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team with an experiencedCorporate Tax Manager .

Key Responsibilities:

As Corporate Tax Manager, you will have a broad role across bothcorporate tax compliance and advisory , with an approximate60% compliance / 40% advisory split.

• Managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients from a variety of sectors
• Reviewing and overseeing corporation tax computations and returns
• Providing corporate tax advice and identifying tax planning opportunities
• Supporting clients with ad hoc corporate tax queries
• Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
• Reviewing work completed by more junior members of the team
• Assisting Partners with more complex advisory projects
• Supporting and mentoring junior members of the tax team
• Contributing to the continued development of the firm's corporate tax offering

Qualifications & Skills:

• CTA qualified
• Currently operating at Corporate Tax Manager level
• Strong corporate tax compliance experience
• Experience managing a portfolio of corporate clients
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporation tax
• Advisory experience would be advantageous but is not essential
• Commercially minded with strong client-facing skills
• Confident reviewing work and supporting more junior members of the team
