A Top 10 firm in Reading is continuing to invest in its Corporate Tax practice following a strong year of growth and a number of significant new client wins. As a result, they are now looking to appoint experienced Corporate Tax professionals at Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director level to add senior capacity and support an increasingly busy client portfolio.

These are not replacement hires. The need is being driven by sustained workload, with existing Senior Managers and Directors operating at full capacity.

This firm is particularly great at creating a family‑first culture , and structuring working patterns to suit your home life - they are open to candidates who may want to work part‑time, split their time between offices/remote or a mix of both!

The role will involve:

• Managing and owning key corporate tax client relationships
• Delivering a genuine mix of advisory and complex compliance work
• Advising UK and international groups, OMBs and larger mid‑market businesses
• Leading engagements, overseeing delivery, and ensuring technical quality
• Working closely with Partners on client strategy, risk and opportunity identification
• Supporting and developing Senior Managers and Managers within the team

The firm is looking for individuals who are comfortable operating at a senior level, with the credibility to lead clients and teams and the commercial awareness to contribute beyond pure delivery.

This opportunity will suit:

• Strong Managers looking for a step up to Senior Manager, with genuine progression to AD and above.
• Senior Managers ready for Associate Director or Director‑level exposure
• Associate Directors looking for broader influence and progression
• Directors who want strong client access without excessive internal barriers

The firm is flexible on background and is open to candidates from a range of corporate tax environments, provided they bring the right level of experience and judgement.
