About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and innovative Cosmetic Science Researcher to join their research and development team, working in a hybrid capacity with a base in Norwich . This role focuses on the formulation, testing, and analysis of new cosmetic products, ingredients, and technologies. You will play a key part in driving product innovation, ensuring product safety, and maintaining the highest scientific standards. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research into new cosmetic ingredients, formulations, and product prototypes.
• Perform laboratory testing and analysis to evaluate product efficacy, stability, and safety.
• Develop and document new product formulations according to project briefs and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing.
• Stay abreast of scientific literature, industry trends, and regulatory changes in cosmetic science.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and research findings.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in cosmetic formulation and R&D within the beauty industry.
• Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, their functions, and safety profiles.
• Experience with laboratory techniques, analytical methods, and experimental design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a lab and office setting.
