Counsel, International Trusts and Private Clients - Guernsey

Our client is a leading offshore law firm with a growing global footprint. For their Guernsey office, we are looking for a senior lawyer with extensive private client and international trust experience to take on the role of Counsel.

The client’s international spread of jurisdictional offices act as a close-knit global team. As counsel for this team you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to clients on all Guernsey matters. Advice will be provided to international trust companies, HNW families and family offices on the establishment and management of offshore asset holding structures. A requirement will also be to work closely with global colleagues in dispute resolution on trust issues, with corporate teams on funds and corporate structures.

For this senior role, applicants should hold a solicitor or barrister position gained in a common law jurisdiction. Preferably be STEP qualified and have a minimum of eight years PQE preferably within an offshore legal or private client organisation.
