About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and efficient Van Courier Driver to join their delivery network in Milton Keynes . This role involves the timely collection and delivery of parcels and packages to residential and commercial addresses within a defined geographical area. You will be the face of the company for many customers, requiring excellent customer service skills alongside your driving abilities. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys an active role and can manage their time effectively to meet delivery targets, ensuring a positive experience for all recipients.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company van for the collection and delivery of goods.
• Plan efficient daily routes to maximize delivery volume and minimize travel time.
• Ensure all packages are handled with care and delivered to the correct recipients.
• Obtain necessary signatures and proof of delivery for all dispatched items.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving license with a clean driving record; experience driving vans is essential.
• Good knowledge of the Milton Keynes area and surrounding routes.
• Ability to lift and carry packages, some of which may be heavy.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
