Courier - Multi-drop Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking an energetic and efficient Courier to join their expanding delivery service in Southampton . As a multi-drop specialist, you will be responsible for delivering a high volume of packages to various addresses within a designated area, ensuring speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. This role demands excellent route planning, time management, and a commitment to providing a positive customer experience. You will be the primary point of contact for many of our customers, representing our company with professionalism and reliability from our Southampton base.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan and execute daily delivery routes to optimise time and distance.
• Deliver a high volume of parcels and packages to residential and commercial addresses.
• Ensure all items are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition.
• Obtain proof of delivery through electronic signature or other required methods.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of your assigned delivery vehicle.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies, traffic laws, and safety regulations in the Southampton area.

Requirements

• A full, clean UK driving license (Category B).
• Previous experience in a courier or delivery driver role, particularly with multi-drop duties.
• Good knowledge of the Southampton and surrounding Hampshire region.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong navigational skills and familiarity with GPS devices.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.
