This role involves the timely collection and delivery of parcels and packages to residential and commercial addresses within the Derbyshire area. You will be responsible for ensuring the secure transport of items and providing excellent customer service during every interaction. If you have a clean driving record, a can-do attitude, and enjoy working independently on varied routes, this is a perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver parcels and packages efficiently to designated locations.
• Ensure all items are handled with care and loaded securely into the van.
• Plan daily routes to optimize time and fuel consumption.
• Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance checks of the company vehicle.
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
• Obtain customer signatures and update delivery status accurately.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence (Category B).
• Previous experience as a van driver or courier is preferred.
• Good geographical knowledge of Derby and the surrounding regions.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Physically capable of lifting moderate weights.
