Location: Tredegar Park, Newport, Gwent, NP10 8XH

Salary: £120.00 per day minimum

Employment Type: Full time - Monday to Friday - 830am - 330pm

We are seeking a responsible and well‑organised Cover Supervisor to join a successful High school in Tredegar Park, Newport. This role involves supervising classes in the absence of teachers and supporting the overall learning environment within a vibrant and inclusive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising classes across various subjects, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
• Supporting teachers with additional duties as directed to facilitate smooth classroom operations.
• Assisting with behaviour management and maintaining student engagement during lessons.
• Contributing to the school’s inclusive ethos by promoting a respectful and supportive atmosphere.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• A good general education, with strong communication skills.
• Experience working with young people, ideally within an educational setting.
• Mandatory compliance with an Enhanced DBS Check.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to different classroom environments.
