We're currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary School in Manchester on a day-to-day, short-term or long-term basis

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes during the absence of the usual classroom teacher
• Delivering pre-prepared lessons and ensuring pupils remain focused on their work
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
• Supporting pupils with their learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment

Requirements or Skills:

• Previous experience working with young people in a school, college, youth or education setting
• Confident classroom management and communication skills
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Able to follow lesson plans and work independently while maintaining high expectations

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
