Crane Operator - Gantry in Swaffham, Norfolk

I am seeking an experienced Gantry Crane Operator for a 6 month contract position on a major construction/engineering project.in Norlfok.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate gantry cranes to lift, move and position heavy materials and equipment.
• Carry out pre-use inspections and report any defects or safety concerns.
• Follow lifting plans, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Work closely with banksmen, slingers and site management to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure equipment is operated within safe working limits.

Requirements:

• Valid and relevant CPCS/NPORS Gantry Crane Operator certification.
• Proven experience operating gantry cranes in a construction, infrastructure or industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of lifting operations and site safety.
• Good communication and ability to work as part of a lifting team.
• Relevant site safety qualifications such as CSCS where applicable.
