About the Role
Our client is seeking a visionary and inspiring Creative Director to lead their creative vision and execution from their Sunderland base. You will be responsible for setting the creative direction, guiding the design team, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional creative output across all marketing and communication channels. This is a senior leadership role focused on elevating the brand's aesthetic and conceptual strength, fostering a culture of artistic excellence and groundbreaking ideas within the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion the overall creative strategy and vision for the company and its clients.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals.
- Oversee the conceptualization and execution of creative campaigns from ideation to final delivery.
- Ensure all creative output is aligned with brand guidelines, strategic objectives, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product development teams to translate business goals into compelling creative solutions.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to internal stakeholders and clients, effectively articulating the rationale and vision.
Requirements
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in a creative leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding creative work.
- A strong portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful creative campaigns across various media.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of design principles, branding, digital marketing, and content creation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent significant professional experience.
