About the Role
Our client is seeking an exceptional and inspiring Creative Director to lead their talented creative team in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for setting the creative vision and guiding the execution of all creative output, ensuring it is innovative, on-brand, and highly impactful across all mediums. This leadership role requires a strategic mind, a passion for groundbreaking creative work, and the ability to inspire and mentor a team of designers, copywriters, and visual artists to produce award-winning campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion the creative vision and strategy for the agency, ensuring alignment with client objectives and brand standards.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse creative team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Oversee the conceptualization and execution of creative concepts across various platforms, including digital, print, video, and experiential.
- Present creative work to clients, effectively articulating the strategic rationale and creative intent behind the concepts.
- Ensure the highest standards of creative quality and innovation are maintained across all projects executed by the team in Edinburgh .
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a creative leadership role (e.g., Creative Director, Art Director, Design Lead) within an agency or in-house creative department.
- A stellar portfolio showcasing a diverse range of successful creative campaigns and projects across multiple disciplines.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and motivate creative teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Strong understanding of branding, marketing principles, and design trends.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
