About the Role
Our client is seeking an inspiring and visionary Creative Director to lead their creative team in Derby . You will be responsible for shaping the creative vision and ensuring the delivery of exceptional, innovative work across all projects. This leadership role requires a strong understanding of design, marketing, and brand strategy, with the ability to mentor a team and drive creative excellence in the fast-paced creative and digital industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and champion the creative vision and strategic direction for the company and its clients.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals.
- Oversee the development of creative concepts and ensure high-quality execution across all campaigns and projects.
- Collaborate with account management, strategy, and production teams to ensure creative output meets client objectives and deadlines.
- Present creative concepts and strategies to clients and stakeholders, effectively articulating the rationale behind design decisions.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in creative and digital media.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Creative Director or Senior Art Director in an agency or in-house creative department.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional creative work and successful campaign leadership.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a creative team.
- Deep understanding of branding, design principles, digital marketing, and various media formats.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
