Key Responsibilities

• Analyze financial statements and credit data to assess the creditworthiness of new and existing clients.
• Develop, implement, and monitor credit risk models and scoring systems.
• Prepare detailed credit reports and recommendations for loan approvals or rejections.
• Monitor portfolio performance and identify potential credit deterioration or emerging risks.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with relationship managers to understand client needs and manage risk effectively.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) in credit risk analysis or a similar financial risk role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Familiarity with credit risk management frameworks and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and potentially statistical software (e.g., R, Python).
