Crew Manager - Operational Resourcing Centre

The Service have a Crew Manager - Operational Resourcing Centre post that we are accepting expressions of interest. Expressions of interest are invited from suitably experienced and qualified Firefighters and Crew Managers. Eligible applicants will need to meet the following criteria as a minimum:

• Be a competent, substantive wholetime Firefighter and been successful in the Crew Manager promotion board or be a substantive wholetime Crew Manager.
• ITOP or Qualified L1ICS
• Not subject to formal performance improvement actions, nor have any live disciplinary sanctions

From 1 April 2024, we have introduced development rates of pay for any new individuals moving into a development or an acting-up role. These pay rates are set out by the National Joint Council., Fire and Rescue Authority roles are listed in Schedule 1 of the Rehabilitation of Offenders act 1974 (Exceptions) Order and as such it is our policy to require all applicants to disclose any criminal convictions (both spent and unspent) including driving offences, cautions and/or reprimands.
