- This specialist company places a strong emphasis on client retention, and your ability to foster long-term connections and make personalised recommendations to your clients, striking the right balance between relationship and sales.
- Our CRM system enhanced with AI functionality will assist you with managing your portfolio of clients.
- You’ll also take part in exclusive client events organised by the Membership Manager which are designed to deepen relationships, enhance loyalty, and strengthen your personal connection with each client.
- This position requires a balance of commercial acumen and emotional intelligence.
- You’ll need to be confident in navigating a wide range of cruise products - from luxury ocean liners to expedition vessels and specialist cruises and skilled at matching these to the unique desires of each client.
- You’ll also be expected to maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, supplier updates, and emerging destinations to ensure your advice remains current and compelling.
About you
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cruise or travel sales, with a consistent record of converting enquiries into bookings and achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of cruise products, including familiarity with a wide range of cruise lines, ship styles, itineraries, and onboard offerings - particularly within the luxury, expedition, and niche sectors.
- A client-first mindset, with a demonstrated ability to listen actively, understand nuanced travel preferences, and translate them into tailored cruise recommendations.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to engage clients across phone, email, and digital channels in a professional yet personable manner.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and online booking platforms to manage client records, track interactions, and ensure seamless follow-up.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple bookings, timelines, and client profiles without compromising service quality.
- Commercially aware, with a solid grasp of pricing structures, supplier promotions, and upselling techniques that enhance both client value and business performance.
