About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and data-driven Cryptocurrency Trader to join their investment team in Derby . This role involves managing a portfolio of digital assets, executing trades across various exchanges, and employing sophisticated strategies to maximize returns. You will analyze market trends, conduct research on emerging cryptocurrencies , and manage risk effectively. Working in a hybrid capacity, you will collaborate closely with portfolio managers and analysts to contribute to the firm's success in the volatile digital asset market.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute buy and sell orders for various cryptocurrencies across multiple exchanges.
• Monitor market conditions, news, and trends that may impact asset prices.
• Conduct in-depth research on new and existing digital assets and blockchain projects.
• Develop and refine trading strategies based on technical and fundamental analysis.
• Manage portfolio risk through diversification and hedging techniques.
• Maintain accurate trading records and provide regular performance reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Trader, preferably with a focus on cryptocurrencies or digital assets.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading platforms, and order execution strategies.
• Proficiency in technical analysis and fundamental research methods.
• Excellent risk management skills and decision-making abilities under pressure.
• Familiarity with blockchain technology and its implications for asset value.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent trading experience.
