About the Role
Our client seeks a creative and meticulous Curriculum Developer to enhance their online education programs based in Cardiff . This role focuses on designing engaging, effective, and accessible online learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse student populations. You will work closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia specialists to transform course content into dynamic digital formats. The ideal candidate is passionate about adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and leveraging technology to create impactful educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop online course content, learning objectives, assessments, and instructional materials using modern instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts to create high-quality, engaging digital learning modules.
- Ensure all online course materials adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and institutional quality guidelines.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance the online learning experience.
- Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope in Cardiff .
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communications, or a related field; Master's preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in curriculum development for online or blended learning environments.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles.
- Excellent project management, writing, and communication skills for effective collaboration.
