Curriculum Developer - STEM Focus

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic Curriculum Developer with a strong focus on STEM subjects to join their dedicated team. You will play a key role in designing, creating, and refining educational materials that align with national curriculum standards and promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This position involves close collaboration with educators and subject matter experts to ensure the highest quality of learning resources. Working on-site in Sunderland , you will contribute directly to enhancing the educational landscape for students.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop engaging and standards-aligned curriculum content for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics subjects.
• Create lesson plans, activities, assessments, and teaching resources that cater to diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and educators to review and revise existing curriculum materials.
• Ensure all developed materials are accurate, up-to-date, and meet pedagogical best practices.
• Contribute to the evaluation and selection of appropriate educational technologies and resources.
• Assist in delivering professional development sessions for educators on new curriculum implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or Education; Master's preferred.
• Proven experience in curriculum development, preferably with a focus on K-12 STEM education.
• Strong understanding of curriculum design principles, assessment strategies, and national educational standards.
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
