Job Description
Position: Customer Order Management Administrator
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote per week)
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: August / September 2026
Role Overview
We are seeking 2 detail-oriented
Customer Order Management Administrators to join our team on a temporary 6-month basis. In this role, you will provide vital non-customer-facing administrative support across all stages of the order lifecycle-ensuring orders are processed accurately, systems remain updated, and shipping documentation is properly compiled.
Key Responsibilities
Order Processing: Accurately enter and process incoming customer orders into the order management system within target deadlines.
Parts Allocation: Manually allocate parts to customer orders as required.
Documentation: Compile and distribute export and shipping documentation to keep orders moving smoothly.
Data Maintenance & Cleansing: Maintain accurate data within the order system (e.g., updating pricing, customer details, drop ships, aging orders, and holds).
Reporting & Setup: Prepare and distribute standard internal reports and assist with administrative tasks like new customer setup and credit/debit logs.
Process Support: Follow standard operational procedures and highlight opportunities for process improvements.
Performance Targets
Maintain an
order entry accuracy rate of 98% .
Process a target of
Process
85% of internal service requests within 4 hours .
Requirements & Skills
Experience in order management, supply chain administration, or strong transferable data-entry/admin skills.
Proficient with computers and
MS Office applications.
Comfortable handling repetitive tasks with speed, focus, and precision.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Able to work onsite in Peterborough 3 days per week (with remaining days remote), plus occasional attendance for workshops or team audits as needed.
