Customer Sales Administrator Leeds city centre | Full time, permanent Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm | Office based

Headway Recruitment is looking for a Customer Sales Administrator to join an established business supplying fabrics to trade customers. This busy, varied role would suit someone who enjoys helping customers, keeping orders on track and working out what needs attention first.

As a Customer Sales Administrator, you'll support customers ranging from independent makers and designers to larger procurement teams. You'll handle enquiries, process orders and work closely with colleagues to resolve delivery issues.

What you'll be doing

Processing customer orders received by phone and email, including sample orders Answering enquiries and providing clear product information Advising customers on fabric suitability and suggesting alternatives when needed Investigating delivery queries and following up with couriers and internal teams Resolving complaints calmly and keeping customers updated Setting up customer accounts and maintaining accurate records Prioritising competing requests, from urgent delivery issues to large trade orders A successful Customer Sales Administrator will be comfortable juggling calls, emails and different systems while maintaining accuracy and a helpful approach.

What we're looking for You'll have experience in an office based customer service or sales administration role. You'll be organised, confident on the phone and able to decide what needs attention first. Experience handling orders or delivery queries would be particularly useful.

The Customer Sales Administrator role also calls for clear written communication, attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
