Customer Serice Account Manager

Customer Service / Account Manager Permanent | Full-Time | Friendly & Growing Team

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Customer Service / Account Manager to join a busy and friendly team within an established packaging solutions company. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for managing customer orders, developing strong customer relationships and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction from enquiry through to delivery.

The Role

• Manage customer orders from initial enquiry through to completion
• Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing excellent service and regular updates
• Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships
• Process orders accurately and ensure all customer requirements are met
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers and customers to ensure smooth order progression
• Monitor deliveries and resolve any issues or queries promptly
• Maintain accurate customer and order records
• Produce reports and use Excel to analyse and manage customer/order information
• Use Sage for order processing and customer administration
• Manage changing priorities within a busy working environment
• Identify opportunities to improve customer service and support business growth

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• At least 3 years' experience in customer service, account management or a similar role
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organisational and administration skills
• Strong Excel skills - this is essential
• Good working knowledge of Sage
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to manage multiple orders and priorities effectively
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• A clean UK driving licence is preferred due to location
