Customer Service & Administration Assistant (Part-Time)
High Wycombe
£15.52 per hour
16 hours per week (Monday to Thursday, 10:00am – 2:00pm)
Temporary to Permanent
Vanta Staffing is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company in High Wycombe for a Customer Service & Administration Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful manufacturing business offering school-friendly hours with the potential for a permanent position.
Working closely with three managers, you'll enjoy a varied role where every day is different. This position would suit someone who is organised, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.
Duties will include:
Providing excellent customer service over the phone and via email
Processing and entering customer orders
Chasing outstanding orders and updating customers
Coordinating logistics and deliveries
Preparing commercial invoices
Prioritising new customer (NPI) orders
Liaising with production and management teams
General administration and office support
The ideal candidate will have:
Previous customer service and administration experience
Manufacturing or production office experience (preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Good maths and numerical skills
Confidence using Microsoft Excel, Outlook and email
Excellent organisational skills
The ability to work independently and use initiative
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
The ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment
