Earn while you learn Gain an SCQF Level 6 in Parts Distribution Job based in Ayr GTG Training is recruiting an Apprentice Parts Advisor on behalf of an independent garage. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry, gain a recognised qualification, and earn a wage while you learn.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, store and dispatch vehicle parts
• Source parts for customers and technicians
• Handle customer enquiries and provide advice
• Process orders and update computer systems
• Develop sales, communication and customer service skills

What You’ll Learn

You’ll work towards an SCQF Level 6 in Parts Distribution , combining hands‑on workplace experience with training and support from GTG. You’ll also gain knowledge of basic vehicle technology, sales techniques and parts identification.

What We’re Looking For

• National 4 or above in English and Maths (or expected to achieve)
• Admin or Computer Studies qualification preferred but not essential
• Enthusiastic, reliable and keen to learn
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
