Customs & Freight Forwarding Coordinator – Felixstowe Salary £27-33K Free parking Pension

We’re looking for an experienced Customs & Freight Forwarding Coordinator to join a busy and growing international Freight Forwarding company

This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on customs experience who enjoys a fast-paced environment, managing shipments and working with customers, hauliers, shipping lines and overseas agents.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing customs clearance for European and Rest of World shipments

• Preparing and submitting customs declarations

• Monitoring shipments and resolving any issues or delays

• Coordinating transport and liaising with customers, hauliers, shipping lines and overseas agents

• Maintaining accurate shipment records and documentation

• Supporting freight forwarding operations and administration

• Assisting with compliance and audit reporting

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in customs, freight forwarding, logistics or shipping

• Strong knowledge of import/export procedures and customs documentation

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Confident communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines

• Experience with Verso, Descartes, Destin8, CNS or IPAFFS would be an advantage
