Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection, for potential security incidents.
• Analyze security alerts and logs to identify and investigate threats and malicious activity.
• Respond to security incidents by following established procedures, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify system weaknesses.
• Develop and implement security measures to protect networks, systems, and data from cyber threats.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security best practices are integrated into all aspects of the IT infrastructure.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in cyber security analysis, threat detection, or incident response.
• Proficiency with security monitoring tools, such as SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and IDS/IPS.
• Understanding of common cyber attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
• Experience with network security principles and operating system security.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
