Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and logs from various systems (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, endpoint protection) to identify potential security incidents.

• Respond to security incidents, following established protocols for containment, investigation, and remediation.
• Conduct regular vulnerability scans and penetration tests, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and refinement of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide support and guidance to other departments on security-related matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in a cyber security or IT security role.
• Familiarity with security monitoring tools, such as SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, ELK Stack).
• Understanding of common cyber threats, attack vectors, and mitigation techniques.
• Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and common security vulnerabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
