About the Role

Our client is looking for an innovative Cyber Security Architect to join their team in Belfast . In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing secure IT systems and infrastructure that protect against a wide range of cyber threats. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure enterprise-level network and system architectures.
• Develop and maintain security architecture standards, principles, and guidelines.
• Evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to ensure security is embedded in the design phase of projects.
• Conduct security reviews of proposed system designs and technology implementations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for security architectures and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture and design.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secure network design.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) solutions.
• Knowledge of security best practices, relevant compliance frameworks, and threat modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication abilities.
