About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Cyber Security Consultant on a contract basis to provide expert guidance and implement robust security solutions remotely. This role involves assessing current security postures, identifying vulnerabilities, and designing strategies to mitigate risks for diverse business needs. You will leverage your deep knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices to advise clients and drive security improvements. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough security risk assessments and gap analyses for client environments.
• Develop and implement tailored cybersecurity strategies and roadmaps.
• Advise on best practices for network security, data protection, and cloud security.
• Assist clients in achieving compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
• Provide technical recommendations for security technologies and solutions.
• Support incident response planning and execution as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Consultant or in a similar advisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), threat landscapes, and mitigation techniques.
• Expertise in areas such as network security, application security, cloud security (AWS, Azure), and data privacy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and manage client engagements effectively in a remote environment.
