About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join their team, offering a fully remote work arrangement with client engagements potentially in and around Brighton . In this client-facing role, you will provide expert advice and solutions to help organizations strengthen their security posture, manage risks, and respond to cyber threats. You will leverage your deep technical knowledge and strategic thinking to assess security vulnerabilities, design robust defenses, and implement effective security programs. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive consultant to drive security excellence for a diverse range of clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments, risk analyses, and gap assessments for clients.
• Develop and implement tailored security strategies, policies, and procedures for clients.
• Advise clients on best practices for network security, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and support incident response efforts for client organizations experiencing security breaches.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise on security technologies and solutions.
• Prepare and deliver detailed reports and presentations to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Consultant or in a similar advisory role.
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Expertise in areas such as risk management, compliance, threat intelligence, and incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business solutions.
• Excellent client management and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
