About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Consultant to provide expert advice and solutions to their clients, working with a hybrid model based out of Stoke-on-Trent . You will be responsible for assessing client security risks, developing tailored security strategies, and assisting with the implementation of security controls. This role requires a deep understanding of the threat landscape and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security risk assessments and gap analyses for clients.
- Develop strategic security roadmaps and implementation plans.
- Advise clients on best practices for data protection, compliance, and threat mitigation.
- Assist in the design and implementation of security solutions, including policies and technical controls.
- Provide training and awareness programs to client staff.
- Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Cyber Security Consultant or in a similar advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Experience with various security technologies and domains (e.g., network security, cloud security, application security).
- Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CRISC are essential.
