About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Cyber Security Consultant to provide expert advice and solutions to businesses in and around Milton Keynes . In this client-facing role, you will assess security risks, develop tailored strategies, and guide organizations through complex cybersecurity challenges. You will leverage your deep knowledge of security frameworks, threat intelligence, and best practices to deliver actionable recommendations and implement effective security measures. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security assessments and audits for client organizations.
• Develop and present strategic security roadmaps and implementation plans.
• Advise clients on compliance requirements, risk management, and data protection regulations.
• Assist in the design and deployment of security solutions, including network security, endpoint protection, and access controls.
• Provide guidance on incident response planning and disaster recovery strategies.
• Stay updated on emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities, translating this knowledge into client advisement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Cyber Security Consultant or in a similar advisory role.
• Deep understanding of various cybersecurity domains, including network security, application security, cloud security, and cryptography.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and PCI DSS.
• Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Proven ability to analyze complex security issues and provide practical, effective solutions.
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are a strong asset.
