About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dynamic and expert Cyber Security Consultant to provide strategic advice and hands-on support to various business units from their base in Milton Keynes . This role requires a forward-thinking individual who can assess complex security risks, develop bespoke security strategies, and guide implementation efforts to enhance the overall resilience of the organisation. You will engage with senior stakeholders to articulate security requirements and drive the adoption of best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on cybersecurity best practices, risk management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Conduct thorough security assessments, including gap analyses and maturity modelling.
• Design and architect secure solutions for complex IT environments, encompassing on-premise and cloud deployments.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive security strategies and roadmaps tailored to client needs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and governance structures.
• Provide expert guidance during security incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Cyber Security Consultant or in a similar advisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of information security principles, threats, and mitigation techniques.
• Experience with various security domains such as network security, application security, cloud security, and data privacy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
