Cyber Security Engineer - Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNs.
• Develop and manage security monitoring tools and processes, focusing on threat detection and analysis.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery from security breaches.
• Conduct security audits and reviews of systems and applications to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of security policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in a cyber security engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with network security, endpoint security, and cloud security principles (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and analysis.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar) and vulnerability management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote , collaborative setting.
