About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain secure network infrastructure and systems.
• Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
• Develop and automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
• Conduct penetration testing and security audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Respond to and manage security incidents, providing detailed post-incident reports.
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security concepts.
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, and EDR.
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to security.
