About the Role
Our client is looking for a dedicated Cyber Security Engineer to bolster their security infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure network infrastructure and systems.
- Implement and manage security controls, including firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and automate security processes and workflows to improve efficiency.
- Conduct penetration testing and security audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, providing detailed post-incident reports.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security concepts.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as IDS/IPS, SIEM, and EDR.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to security.
