Cyber Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage security technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection platforms.
• Develop and automate security processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct in-depth security analysis of systems, applications, and network infrastructure.
• Respond to security incidents, perform forensic analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development teams on secure coding practices and application security reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of security systems, configurations, and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in a cyber security engineering role.
• Proficiency with security tools and technologies such as Splunk, Nessus, Qualys, or similar.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
• Strong understanding of network protocols , operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues.
