Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Develop and automate security processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses.
• Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Research and recommend new security technologies and strategies to address emerging threats.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar technical security role.
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and security architecture principles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation is a strong asset.
• Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CCSP, Security+) are preferred.
