Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
- Develop and automate security processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability scans to identify potential weaknesses.
- Lead the response to security incidents, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Research and recommend new security technologies and strategies to address emerging threats.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or in a similar technical security role.
- Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and security architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container security.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation is a strong asset.
- Experience with security monitoring tools and incident response procedures.
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CCSP, Security+) are preferred.
