About the Role
Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their fully remote security engineering team. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures, including firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and web application firewalls.
- Develop and deploy security solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), ensuring robust security configurations.
- Create and maintain automation scripts for security tasks, deployments, and incident response procedures.
- Conduct thorough security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing, recommending remediation actions.
- Lead the technical response to major security incidents, ensuring swift containment and recovery.
- Research and integrate new security technologies and best practices to continuously improve the security posture.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer with a strong focus on infrastructure security and threat mitigation.
- In-depth knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and technologies.
- Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms and services.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
- Experience with SIEM, SOAR, and endpoint security solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or CEH are highly desirable.
