Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking an insightful Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their growing security team in Plymouth . In this proactive role, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and disseminating information about current and emerging cyber threats, threat actors, and their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs). Your insights will directly inform and strengthen the organization's defensive strategies and incident response capabilities. This is a critical position for a curious and analytical individual passionate about staying ahead of the curve in the cybersecurity landscape, contributing to preemptive security measures and threat mitigation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to identify and understand cyber threats.
• Develop actionable threat intelligence reports, briefings, and alerts for relevant stakeholders.
• Track and research threat actors, their motivations, capabilities, and TTPs.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of defensive security measures based on intelligence insights.
• Collaborate with security operations and incident response teams to integrate threat intelligence into their workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Intelligence Studies, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cyber threat intelligence analysis or a related security research role.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex information from diverse sources.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms, malware analysis, and open-source intelligence (OSINT) techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
