Cybersecurity Analyst - Threat Intelligence

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst specializing in Threat Intelligence to join their security operations center in Nottingham . This role is essential for proactively identifying, analyzing, and reporting on cyber threats that could impact the organization. You will be responsible for gathering intelligence from various sources, assessing its relevance and impact, and translating it into actionable insights to strengthen our defenses. This position offers a critical opportunity to be at the forefront of threat awareness, protecting our client from sophisticated cyber adversaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and synthesize threat intelligence from multiple sources (open-source, commercial feeds, government reports).
• Develop threat profiles and actor methodologies to understand adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Produce actionable threat intelligence reports for various stakeholders, including technical and executive audiences.
• Integrate threat intelligence into security monitoring tools (SIEM, SOAR) to enhance detection capabilities.
• Conduct research on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors relevant to the organization's industry.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to provide context and support during security investigations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis , with a focus on threat intelligence.
• Proficiency in using threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Strong understanding of geopolitical and cyber threat landscapes.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Familiarity with cyber attack frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
