About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and analytical Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their growing security team. This fully remote position involves researching, analyzing, and disseminating actionable threat intelligence to help the organization anticipate and defend against emerging cyber threats. You will be instrumental in providing insights into threat actors, their tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and the evolving threat landscape. This role is perfect for an individual passionate about staying ahead of cyber adversaries and contributing to robust Information Security defenses from any location.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence data from various sources (OSINT, commercial feeds, dark web).
- Develop profiles of threat actors, including their motivations, capabilities, and targets.
- Produce timely and actionable intelligence reports for different audiences (technical and executive).
- Identify emerging threats and trends relevant to the organization's sector and assets.
- Support incident response teams with context and insights during active investigations.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of threat intelligence platforms and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information.
- Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain).
- Experience using threat intelligence platforms and tools.
- Understanding of geopolitical factors influencing cyber threats is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and briefing.
