D365 Business Central Functional Consultant
Location: Hampshire (Hybrid X2 days per week onsite OR remote)
Employment: Permanent Client: Microsoft Partner
Overview
Our client, a leading Microsoft Partner, is seeking an experienced D365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join their growing team. This is a permanent role offering flexibility to work remotely, with onsite collaboration in Hampshire two days per week.
You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality Business Central implementations, driving functional design, and supporting customers across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead functional workshops, requirements gathering, and solution design for D365 Business Central.
- Configure, customise, and implement BC modules aligned to customer needs.
- Produce functional documentation, process flows, and user guides.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Support UAT, training, go‑live, and post‑implementation activities.
- Advise customers on best practice, optimisation, and system improvements.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and maintain strong client relationships.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant.
- Strong understanding of core BC modules (Finance, SCM, Warehousing, Projects, Manufacturing, or similar).
- Experience delivering end‑to‑end implementations for Microsoft Partners or similar environments.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
- Solid documentation, workshop, and training capability.
Desirable
- Experience with LS Retail, eCommerce, distribution, or retail environments.
- Knowledge of Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate).
- Microsoft certifications (MB‑800 or equivalent).
