Bauhaus Recruitment is looking for experienced Data Cabling Engineers for education projects across Hertfordshire.

The work will involve installing and upgrading structured cabling and Wi-Fi infrastructure within schools and other education settings.

Duties will include:

• Installing Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
• Installing and replacing wireless access points
• Cable pulling, dressing and containment
• Terminating outlets and patch panels
• Testing, labelling and fault-finding
• Cabinet work and patching
• Working professionally within education environments

Requirements:

• Previous data cabling experience
• CSCS or ECS card preferred
• Own tools and PPE
• Good testing and termination skills
• Reliable and comfortable working within schools
• Full UK driving licence and own transport preferred

There will be opportunities across different education sites, so flexibility to travel throughout Hertfordshire is important.
