Role Overview
We're recruiting on behalf of our global client for a site-based Data Centre Supervisor to oversee daily Moves, Adds & Changes (MAC) activities, Business-as-Usual (BAU) operations, and cabling infrastructure support in a high-availability, 24/7 data centre environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise MAC and BAU cabling activities, including copper/fibre installations, testing, and decommissioning.
Manage shift coverage, daily workload allocation, and engineering resource scheduling.
Monitor SLA performance, enforce site safety and quality compliance, and escalate operational risks.
Coordinate with internal engineering teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
Assist with incident management, first-line technical support, fault finding, and asset tracking.
Requirements Essential
Proven supervisory experience within a Data Centre MAC operational environment.
Extensive hands-on background in copper and fibre structured cabling installation, testing, and fault diagnosis.
Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, ticketing systems, and formal service delivery workflows.
Demonstrated ability to manage third-party vendors and supervise shifts in live, 24/7 environments.
Preferred
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., BICSI, CDCTP, CDCMP, ITIL, CompTIA Server+, CCNA).
Previous experience within enterprise or corporate banking data centre environments
