We're working with a major UK organisation delivering secure, enterprise-scale data platforms across defence and national security programmes. This is hands-on engineering in operational environments, where scale, resilience and reliability aren't optional.

• *The role** Design and build modern data platforms and production-grade pipelines across secure cloud environments working alongside engineering and architecture teams on high-volume systems that drive real operational outcomes.

• *What you'll do**
• Build scalable pipelines across ingestion, processing and serving layers
• Work with Python, SQL, APIs and distributed data tooling
• Handle structured and unstructured workloads at scale
• Integrate multiple sources into modern cloud platforms
• Collaborate across engineering and delivery on mission-critical programmes

• *The environment** Python, SQL, Spark, Java or Scala · AWS, Azure or GCP · modern distributed and cloud-native architectures

• *What we need**
• Active DV clearance essential
• Production-scale pipeline experience
• Strong engineering and platform mindset
• Big data tooling and cloud ecosystem exposure
• Comfortable in delivery-focused, secure environments
