About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and data-driven Data Scientist with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence to join their dynamic team in Leeds . You will be responsible for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, building predictive models, and contributing to the development of AI-powered products and services. This role offers the chance to work on challenging analytical problems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make a significant impact within the growing AI & Emerging Technologies landscape. The role supports a hybrid working model, combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Develop, test, and deploy machine learning models for various applications, including classification, regression, and clustering.
- Design and implement A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate model performance and product features.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate models into production systems.
- Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies and solutions.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist with a strong portfolio of AI/ML projects.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python or R, and SQL.
- Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras) and data visualization tools.
- Strong understanding of statistical principles and data mining techniques.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
