About the Role
Our client is seeking a specialized Data Scientist with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join their dynamic analytics team in Milton Keynes . This role is central to extracting meaningful insights and building intelligent systems from vast amounts of textual data. You will play a key role in developing and deploying NLP models that enhance customer understanding, automate processes, and drive data-informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement state-of-the-art NLP models for tasks such as sentiment analysis, text classification, entity recognition, and summarization.
- Process, clean, and structure large volumes of unstructured text data for analysis and model training.
- Design and execute experiments to evaluate and improve NLP model performance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data science projects.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and production systems for NLP models.
- Stay current with the latest research and techniques in NLP and machine learning.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a specialization in NLP .
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with NLP libraries (e.g., spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, deep learning architectures (e.g., LSTMs, Transformers), and statistical methods.
- Experience with data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g., Pandas, SQL).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
