Data Scientist - NLP Specialist

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field with an NLP focus.
• Proven experience in building and deploying NLP models using libraries like NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, or similar.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data science tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of machine learning principles and deep learning architectures relevant to NLP.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate technical findings effectively to diverse audiences in Sunderland .
