Our client is seeking a talented Data Scientist with a specialization in Natural Language Processing (NLP) to join their dynamic team in Milton Keynes . You will be instrumental in extracting insights and building intelligent systems from unstructured text data, driving innovation in areas such as sentiment analysis, chatbots, and text summarization. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy state-of-the-art NLP models for tasks such as text classification, named entity recognition, and topic modeling.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation for NLP projects.
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate NLP solutions into product features and internal tools.
- Conduct research on emerging NLP trends and techniques to enhance our capabilities.
- Present findings and model performance metrics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Linguistics, Data Science, or a related field with an NLP focus.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying NLP models using libraries like spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and their applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
