Data Scientist - Pharmaceutical Analytics

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement advanced analytical models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques to analyze complex pharmaceutical datasets.
• Extract, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity for analysis.
• Design and conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations relevant to drug discovery, clinical development, and market access.
• Build predictive models to forecast clinical trial success rates, identify patient populations, or optimize commercial strategies.
• Visualize and communicate complex analytical findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, clinical operations, and commercial departments, to define analytical requirements and deliver data-driven solutions.

Requirements

• Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist , with a proven track record in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, including relevant libraries for data manipulation, analysis, and machine learning (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Strong experience with statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning).
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.
